Music Shelter
Valeria Lysenko and her mother, Olena Lysenko, fled Kyiv after Russia had started bombing the city. When they arrived in Budapest, they met Vivien Rene, who and his flatmates gave them accommodation with several other refugee families from Ukraine. Not only did Vivien René shelter them, but he also organised two concerts in Budapest for the extremely talented girl, who had a successful career on the Ukrainian Voice TV show, and for her mother, who works as a music teacher. The profits from the concert were donated to a foundation for Ukrainian refugees. The photo report shows their life in Budapest. Not only the temporary accommodation, but also the concerts and the music that they played together helped them to recover from the traumas they had experienced.
